You will receive a basket nearly identical to this one pictured, but please keep in mind every basket is uniquely handwoven and differs in design. In the Bolgatanga area of Ghana, weavers use the abundant Veta vera grass to weave these incredibly hardy, useful baskets. Coming from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana, these baskets are traditionally used for storage. This is a great shape for a recycling bin and has a flexible rim with a wide open top. Please note that if color looks black on your screen, it is actually a very, very dark blue. Easily reshape your basket by quickly submerging in water, reshape by hand and hang to dry.
