You will receive a basket of nearly indentical colors to the one pictured above, but please keep in mind every basket is uniquely handwoven and differs slightly in design. Woven Created in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana, this style is the same as the market basket but without the handle, making it a perfect basket for organizing things. Weavers in the region use the abundant Veta vera grass to weave these incredibly hardy, useful baskets. Please note that if a color in the basket’s pattern looks black on your screen, it is actually a very, very dark blue. Although we attempt to ship all baskets fully shaped, some baskets may need a little bit of shaping when they arrive to you. Easily reshape your basket by quickly submerging it in water and reshaping it by hand, then hanging it to dry. Make sure it is completely dry before placing it on a solid surface.
